About Us

As a Child of  Deaf Adults (CODA) and nationally certified seasoned interpreter with over 28 years experience, the owner, Mari Reeder, is well positioned to act as a liaison between two cultures.

In the past, Mari coordinated interpreters as a volunteer for a local deaf center until they closed their doors due to a lack of funding. Relationships and professionalism had been established and members of the community, hearing and deaf alike, feared they would lose the progress from their hard work.

Recognizing the need and sensing the tremendous support, Interpreter Connection was established in 2002 to continue to 'bridge the gap' between cultures.
